What is the difference between safari tents, villa tents and Camp-let?

Are you unsure about the difference between the various types of tents you can rent at DK-CAMP campsites? Here you will find a short explanation of the different types of tents.

  • A safari tent is often built from strong canvas with a fixed floor, wooden terrace and real beds. It typically has a living area and a small kitchen and feels more like a small cabin in tent form. Some safari tents even have their own bathroom and toilet inside the tent – pure luxury. A safari tent usually accommodates 4 to 6 people.
  • A villa tent is a large, classic rental tent with several sleeping cabins and plenty of floor space. The interior is simple, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of traditional camping. Villa tents are generally intended for 4–5 people.
  • A Camp-let is a trailer tent with fixed beds and a living area, offering a cosy and intimate camping atmosphere. A Camp-let is typically suitable for 2–4 people and is popular with couples and smaller families.
