Gudenå Camping is beautifully situated a stone's throw from the Gudenåen river and ‘Den Genfundne Bro’ (The Rediscovered Bridge) in the scenic Midtjylland region, just west of Horsens. With a central location between the historic market towns of East Jutland – Vejle, Horsens, Silkeborg and Aarhus – the campsite is an ideal base for both relaxing stays and exciting adventures.

What can we offer?

• Cosy campsite: Well-designed, small site with good facilities, creating the ideal setting for both children and adults.
• Café: Treat yourself to a cup of coffee, a cold beer, ice cream or a light meal in our cosy café.
  Rooms for 65 people: Perfect for bus companies, family weekends or clubs in combination with dining or overnight stays.
• Miniature golf course: 12-hole miniature golf course inspired by the local area. For example, you can play on ‘The Rediscovered Bridge’, through the Reunification Tower at Ejer Bavnehøj – or over the Gudenåen river. Everyone is welcome on our mini golf course, even if you are not staying at the campsite. So bring your canoe, park your bike or car and enjoy a game of mini golf in peaceful surroundings.

Accommodation: 
The campsite is open during the summer season and we offer both cabins and rooms for rent.

Activities and experiences: 
The campsite is surrounded by unspoilt Danish nature and is a perfect starting point for hiking and cycling trips. The Gudenåen river is ideal for canoeing and kayaking, and equipment can be hired from Tørring canoe hire.

Nearby towns and attractions:

• Horsens – Explore the prison, the industrial museum, the art museum and events such as the Medieval Festival and Children's Theatre Festival.
• Silkeborg – Enjoy nature in the Søhøjlandet area, sail with Hjejlen and visit AQUA, Museum Jorn and Silkeborg Bad, among other attractions. The city is known for major events such as Riverboat Jazz and Hede Rytmer.
• The Rediscovered Bridge – Historic railway bridge from 1899, excavated in 2014. A popular destination nearby the campingsite.
