Svendborg Sund Camping
Maria Da Silva, the campsite manager, has since 1999 welcomed guests to her exotic oasis at Vindebyøre. The campsite is located directly on the beautiful and idyllic Svendborg Sound. Maria has created a very special and unique atmosphere and takes great pride in creating the best possible setting for an unforgettable holiday. The campsite is known for its quiet environment so you can really relax.
It is located directly to a nice and child friendly beach with a lovely little fireplace, where you can unwind and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
You can sail around the Svendborg Sound aboard veteran ship MS Helge, docked at Vindebyøre, to get a view of Valdemar Castle, the old fishermen town of Troense, Thurø and Svendborg.
Our neighbour Nicus Nature offers sea kayaks to rent, kayak courses and guided trips in the archipelago.
In high season we arrange musical entertainment and barbecue events every Thursday. If you come by on Pentecost Saturday, you could learn to dance salsa :-) Children can enjoy themselves with rabbits and birds in our mini-zoo.
You can get a glimpse of the atmosphere here by visiting the campsites Facebook page.
