Camping in calm, scenic surroundings

Rosenvold Strand Camping is set in beautiful natural surroundings right by Vejle Fjord. With the marina on one side and Rosenvold Stream on the other, the campsite is surrounded by forest, water and fresh air.

This is a place to relax, slow down and enjoy your holiday at your own pace.

A campsite for the whole family

Rosenvold Strand Camping is ideal for both adults and children. You can enjoy the beach, the fjord, the forest, wildlife and nature.

The campsite has a playground with a climbing tower and a jumping pillow. Children can also meet our friendly pet goats.

Dogs are very welcome. At the back of the campsite, there is a large fenced dog area where dogs can run and play freely. It is perfect for a game of fetch.

After a walk along the beach or nearby paths, your dog can be washed at the outdoor dog shower next to the main service building in the centre of the campsite.

The fjord also offers good fishing, including sea trout. If you bring a boat, there is a slipway right next to the marina.

Close to attractions and experiences

The campsite is only 15 minutes from the E45 motorway, making it easy to reach many attractions during your holiday. Nearby you will find:

This makes it easy to combine a relaxing beach holiday with visits to some of Denmark’s most popular attractions.

An active holiday by the water

Rosenvold Strand is a child-friendly sandy beach with a long pier that goes out into the water. From here, you can walk directly into deeper water, making swimming easy and safe for both children and adults.

There is plenty of space for playing, sunbathing and relaxing, both on the beach and on the grassy area leading down to the water.

The area is lively during the summer months. Good wind conditions make it popular for kite surfing and windsurfing. The fjord is also perfect for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, also known as SUP.

The marina is located right next to the campsite. If you bring a boat, it is easy to launch it at the slipway. In summer, you will often see boats, kayaks and paddleboards on the fjord, and many people stop by for an ice cream or a short break in the sun.
